Post Truth

Post-Truth has been a term used in describing this culture, but it’s been around for a long time. Paul describes it in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 as the “mystery of iniquity” already at work. In this post truth (chaotic cultural) has been characterized and defined by Oxford Dictionary 2016 as:

“relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Other characterizations

“lies stopped being treated as something inexcusable and started being viewed as something acceptable in certain situations”

The prefix “post,” which now means not simply “after,” but also refers to “a time in which the specified concept has become unimportant or irrelevant.”

C.S. Lewis describes this age in deep thought-provoking book “the Abolish of Man in 1943 “a Man without a Chest” or no heart.

There are many who would disagree with me in my next statement, but it needs to be said, the “Christian churches” are under this bondage, and have been for a long time. If not, why do we have so many different denominations so many different truths.
