The Son of Man

After Adam disobedience the Lord God said,

But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you? Genesis 3:9

Personally, I believe at the moment Adam sinned, the Lord God lost a Son. The one he called was not the original Son, he had changed. Before the Lord God had cast them out of the Garden He gave hope to Adam that through the seed of the woman there would be the Messiah.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15

The Lord God preserved the woman’s seed the original DNA of the first human. Jesus as the Second and Last Adam needed to fulfill the law so a perfect body of the original Adam was necessary.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us John 1:14

This title Son of man gives Jesus the right to be the ruler as a descendant of before the fall.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26

The prophecy of Daniel affirms this;

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:13-14

But before Jesus was to be ruler, He needed to fulfill the law. The law that required an eye for an eye. There needed to be an atoning sacrifice,

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: Hebrews 10 4-5

The Lord God in His wisdom prepared a body the seed of the woman the original seed of Adam so the law could be fulfilled. When the Lord God cast Adam out of the Garden He clothed them in animal skin, there needed to be a blood sacrifice, but this was temporary until the Messiah came.
